strict old-skill vs new-skill comparison

ui-polish ยท same task A, real old vs new outputs

This comparison uses one concrete task A and two real outputs produced at different times in the update wave: the old side was created before the skill update, and the new side was created after the skill update.

Method: Task A is the same floating appearance control panel. The old side already has hover lift, but the response still feels somewhat split: the shell and CTA react, yet the grouped controls do not quite belong to the same hover field. This update adds hover-field-coherence.md, which makes shell, top cue, grouped controls, and primary action behave more like one coordinated suspended system.
Hover the shell, chip group, and Apply finish button in each side.

Old skill on task A

pre-hover-field-coherence
Old shaping: hover is better than before, but it still feels somewhat split. The shell lifts and the CTA lifts, yet the grouped controls stay mostly outside the same hovering event, so the surface reads as related reactions rather than one coherent field.

New skill on task A

+ hover field coherence
New shaping: hover now recruits the top cue, chip group, shell, and CTA into one calmer field. The CTA is still the strongest local moment, but the whole overlay feels more like one suspended object responding together.
